Moves from Queens, NY Into Larger, More Convenient Location in Westbury, Long Island
August 21, 2006 – Westbury, NY – The EDGE Distributors Group -- a rapidly growing service-oriented group of 14 independently owned regional distributors catering primarily to custom install and residential systems integrators -- today announced that charter member BDC Distributors, Inc. has relocated from Queens, NY to a larger Long Island, NY location. Serving the metro-New York region, BDC has built-up a successful business serving audio video retailers and custom integrators from their (until recent) Bayside, Queens NY location. According to Principal Barry Balcourt, the company’s drive to be more centrally located and in a larger facility fueled their move to the Westbury, Long Island location. ”We are now situated right off of the Long Island Expressway (495) and just minutes from the major highways that connect to all five boroughs of New York City including Westchester County and eastern Long Island as well as New Jersey and Connecticut,” says Balcourt. “The larger facility puts us in a fantastic position to take on more product lines and stock even more for our existing manufacturer partners.
