WOLF CINEMA, SEYMOUR-SCREEN EXCELLENCE, DYNAUDIO AND AUDIOCONTROL JOIN FORCES TO CREATE STUNNING HOME THEATER DEMOS AT CES 2018

Las Vegas, NV - January 9, 2018 - Wolf Cinema, Seymour-Screen Excellence, Dynaudio and AudioControl are coming together to present the very latest in UHD/4K home theater acoustic and visual excellence at CES 2018 (Venetian Towers, Suite #29-103).

To combat the lighter-colored walls and ceilings of the hotel suite, Wolf Cinema and Seymour-Screen Excellence are pulling out all the stops to deliver an eye-popping performance. Wolf Cinema is demonstrating their latest 4K laser/phosphor-driven projector, the model TXF-5000. The projector boasts Blu-escentâ„¢ technology that incorporates 48 blue laser modules plus dedicated imaging phosphors with 3200 ANSI lumens of peak white performance. “The TXF-5000 achieves breathtakingly lifelike images with extended color accuracy plus deep inter-scene black renditions that approach the very limits of today’ss testing equipment, making it THE choice for discriminating enthusiasts,” says Wolf Cinema Sales Director Jim McGall.

Seymour-Screen Excellence will complement the projector with its Ambient-Visionaire Black 1.2, an ultra-high-contrast ambient light-rejecting film screen outfitted in its new 1.5-inch wide border (Series-1) in scope format at 130-inches wide. Seymour-Screen Excellence will also show a bias lighting kit it has in development. Where today’ss lighting kits emit bold colors on the wall that contaminate the video experience, the Seymour-Screen Excellence kit can be tuned to compensate for the wall color to achieve the proper 6500K color, and is ideal for making HDR and high-brightness viewing less fatiguing. MSRP for the screen and light kit is $5,140 and $490 respectively.

Dynaudio and AudioControl are providing the sound for this all-star demo. Featured in a 5.2 arrangement will be Dynaudio’ss Contour 30 floor standing speakers (MSRP $7,500 pair), Contour 25C center ($3,500) and Contour 20 surrounds ($5,000 pair). Outfitted with Esotar2 soft-dome tweeters and Dynaudio’ss proprietary Magnesium Silicate Polymer mid/woofers in ultra-rigid yet highly-damped enclosures, the speakers yield incredible power, finesse, and control. The Contours will be complemented by two of Dynaudio’ss all-new Sub 6 500W powered subwoofers ($2,800 each). Each is flat to 16 Hz and via advanced intelligent DSP blend seamlessly with the Contours.

Taking centerstage will be the AudioControl Maestro M9 preamp/processor (MSRP $8,900) and Pantages G3 five-channel high current amplifier (MSRP $2,500). The M9 supports Dolby Atmos®, DTS:Xâ„¢, Dolby Vision HDR and incorporates Dirac Live® room correction technology. The G3 incorporates a unique and highly-efficient Class H design that allows it to produce 230 watts into each channel, at an 8-ohm load with a total audio output over 1200 watts RMS!

Overall, the folks at these brands are true video- and audiophiles and demo content chosen for the presentations is certain to be outstanding. Venetian Towers, #29-103.
