Denver, CO – September 25, 2013 – Finely-woven fabric acoustically transparent-specialized brand Seymour-Screen Excellence (CEDIA Expo booth #722) is rolling into this year’s CEDIA Expo with a growing rep network, more sales under its belt and new sleeker film screens that are featured in high-end demos by both Wisdom Audio and DataSat.

New Dual Aspect Ratio Motorized Retractable at CEDIA Expo
Earlier this year, the company brought to market its Multi-Format Retractable: a dual-aspect ratio motorized, retractable A.T. film screen that employs a separate roller to lower a second masking system. Luxury comforts include Seymour’s proprietary Infinite Black™ velvet border material and patented Uni-tab™ system which hides the side tensioning cables behind the borders, eliminating the unsightly hourglass shape common to tab-tensioned screens. The Uni-tab system also contributes to a completely smooth projection surface.

New Slim Bezel Screens
At the Expo, S-SE will unveil its new “J-frame” fixed-frame which boasts is a slimmer and narrower bezel (3.3-inches wide and sits 1.6-inches from wall to front of frame) than currently available on the company’s Reference Fixed series. J-frame grants the dealer more flexibility when fitting a film screen into a constrained space.

Additionally, in keeping with today’s modern décor zero-edges look, the company will be showing its new Slim Screen, which was developed by UK-based partner Screen Excellence. Slim Screen’s bezel measures a mere half-inch wide (.5-inch) and sits 1.33-inches from the wall to front of frame. Slim Screen is ideal for today’s common multi-purpose rooms where the flat-panel TV look is desired.

High-End Demos Feature Seymour-Screen Excellence
S-SE has provided Wisdom Audio (Audio Room 702) with a 271-inch diagonal J-frame outfitted with its Enlightor 4K screen surface. The front soundstage will consist of three 10-foot tall line arrays, a new Runco projector, an estimated 60kW of amplification and seating for 24.

S-SE has provided DataSat (Sound Room 18) with 156-inch diagonal J-frame equipped with its Enlightor 4K surface. Other demo partners include Digital Projection (3-chip projector) and Triad Speakers which is providing 11.2 channels comprised of 13 main speakers and 4 subwoofers. The content of the demo is NeoX theatrical from DTS.

S-SE’s Enlightor 4K surface is ISF-certified for color purity. Its finely woven-fabric composition does not impede audio or video, making it the reference screen among enthusiasts, movie studios and production houses.
