Mississauga, Ontario – Oasis Home Theatre Seating, since its inception in 2006 by former Irwin Seating Company home theater executive Rose Pefhany, markets its own brand of entertainment furniture and is the sole distributor of Irwin’s home theater chairs.

Pefhany wants dealers to know that the Irwin products that were so popular for nearly two decades -- prior to the seating giant ceasing its home theater products marketing efforts several years ago -- remain available today from Oasis. This includes Irwin’s Quinta, Ambassador and Performance VIP TheatreRockers and Springfield, Davies, Marquee, Sports and Outdoor models.

Oasis builds and sells the luxurious, award-winning Performance VIP and Ambassador loungers (formerly Irwin models that Pefhany had a hand in designing during her employ with manufacturer Irwin), as well as the Quinta and new Sterling loungers.

Oasis has recently launched a website - pointing oasishtseating.com and irwinhometheatre.com to the site. Oasis has also appointed Helena Coito as sales coordinator, where she will assist with the day-to-day operations at the company’s Ontario, Canada headquarters.

Bringing Coito onboard enables Pefhany to devote more time to collaborating with dealers, interior designers and homeowners on seating styles and floor plans - a service that she has a real passion for and provides at no additional cost.

Pefhany uses a combination of budget, space, room use, traffic flow and seating style preference to arrive at several different seating layouts for each customer. She claims, “I like to come up with solutions that others may not have thought of.”

“Most times we can get more chairs into the room than often realized, by combining product styles; using loungers in the front, and matching club chairs or theatre-rockers in behind. This is where the marriage between the Oasis and Irwin products proves to be a tremendous benefit,” says Pefhany.

”It is also important to know and understand architectural and design guidelines to ensure platforms are built to adequate size and strength to allow for safety and proper sightlines,” furthers Pefhany.
