AUDIO DESIGN ASSOCIATES CONTINUES TO SING THE PRAISES OF HD RADIO™ TECHNOLOGY
Offers Multiple HD Radio Tuner Options For Both Consumer and Professional Markets
Denver, CO - September 6, 2007 - At this year’s CEDIA Expo, Audio Design Associates (ADA)
-- the recognized brand of excellence in high-end custom installed electronics and a founding member of CEDIA – continues to support HD Radio broadcasting with both enthusiasm for the benefits of the technology and multiple product offerings.
Richard Stoerger, ADA’s VP and COO says, “HD Radio broadcasting is the future of AM and FM radio and best of all, most major American broadcasters are already providing HD Radio transmissions so that early adopters really do have something new to listen to. ADA is the first to begin shipping an integration friendly HD Radio tuner and among the first few companies in the world to bring this technology to the American consumer.” There are more than 1,400 HD Radio stations in the U.S, offering more than 600 new multicast channels.
Last year ADA began shipping their HDM-1 HD Radio tuner module which is available separately as a module ($600 MSRP), ideal for use with many ADA multi-room/multi-zone pre-amp/amplifier systems such as the new SWAN (Structured Wiring Audio Network); as the TSS-1 single-module black-box chassis ($999 MSRP) or as part of ADA’s two- and four- tuner component tuners, the Duo Tuner (beginning at $1,899 MSRP) and Tune Suite (beginning at $2,399 MSRP) respectively.
According to Stoerger, ADA’s HD Radio technology is also ideally matched with the company’s Suite-16 and Suite 8x8 Multi-Room systems. The HD Radio tuner is also an option for ADA’s popular selling Suite 8100 Multi-Room Receiver.
