TRIAD SPEAKERS INTRODUCES INCORNER SILVER OMNI LOUDSPEAKER

First Full-Range In-Corner Loudspeaker Design Marketed To The CEDIA Channel - Complements Many Triad Loudspeakers; Ideal For Surround and Distributed Audio Applications

January 5, 2006 – Las Vegas, NV – Custom loudspeaker solution manufacturer Triad Speakers, Inc., today announced the introduction of their new InCorner Silver Omni loudspeaker that delivers a flush corner-wall fit without compromising sound quality.

According to Triad Speakers, Inc. Director of Sales and Marketing Paul Scarpelli, the company is the first CEDIA-channel loudspeaker manufacturer to market a dedicated full-range in-corner loudspeaker design.

The concept is borne from several individual custom projects Triad engineers undertook on behalf of audio/video integrators as a way of seeking a unique alternative solution to the traditional in-wall, in-room and on-wall loudspeaker designs.

“The InCorner Silver Omni is sonically derived from Triad’s popular Silver Omni InWall, InCeiling and InRoom versions -- sharing their same internal components and cabinet volume -- making it the perfect complement for use with many Triad loudspeakers and ideal for both high quality surround sound and distributed audio applications,” says Scarpelli.

The InCorner Silver Omni features a handsome, Acoustimesh speaker grill. Upon request the company will custom paint match the entire speaker to blend with the décor of any home.

With dimensions and weight at 9" x 11 ½" x 13" and 6 pounds each, respectively, the InCorner Silver Omni can easily be tucked away into most any residential corner-wall application.

The InCorner Silver Omni performance specifications are:
1-inch Vifa soft dome tweeter, 5 ½-inch Peerless woofer / Sensitivity 86 dB@1W1M / Frequency Response 65-15 kHz (+/- 3 dB) / Nominal Impedance 6 Ohms / Minimum Impedance 4 Ohms / Power Handling 75/150 Watts Peak.

The InCorner Silver Omni is shipping beginning January 2006 at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $550 each.
