IRWIN SEATING COMPANY INTRODUCES NEW AND IMPROVED AMBASSADOR LOUNGER
Best-Selling Luxury Home Theatre Lounger Just Got Even Better!
September 6, 2005 – Indianapolis, IN – At this week’s CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis, Indiana, esteemed theatre-seating manufacturer Irwin Seating Company will be exhibiting their new-and-improved Ambassador Lounger that boasts advancements in both home theatre seating comfort and performance. While the new Ambassador Lounger may look like its hugely successful predecessor -- whose winning combination of design, functionality and durability has made it a popular choice among home theatre integrators for over 5 years now -- it incorporates several improvements that until present had only been available on the company’s newer, more expensive luxury recliners. According to Irwin Seating Company Home Theatre Division Manager Rose Pefhany, the new Ambassador Lounger incorporates the same highly acclaimed recline mechanism utilized in the company’s award-winning Performance VIP Recliner model which hit the marketplace last year. This mechanism provides three positions -- from upright (closed position), to basic movie watching (feet extended) to a fully reclined position (feet extended, head back) -- where the previous version offered simply two positions. The new Ambassador Lounger is also now available with an optional motorized recline which delivers additional comfort by enabling the user to select any position traveled along the recline track (between closed and full recline) with the simple touch of a button. The new Ambassador Lounger also incorporates performance enhancements that heighten the movie watching experience. The underside of the chair has been redesigned to allow for easier installation of optional bass shaker-type devices that reproduce the thumps, thrusts and shakes common to action movie soundtracks - a favorite amongst home theatre enthusiasts. Additionally, the armrests have been widened to accommodate larger cup holders. The new Ambassador Lounger is available now. Standard features include Irwin Seating Company’s “Huggy-Back” foam, cup holders and manual recline. Options include motorized recline; center consoles with storage, and a choice of commercial grade velvet, Italian leather or customer’s own material upholstery. To accommodate each customer’s individual home theatre needs, the chairs can be ordered in a wide variety of configurations including single chairs, love seats, straight rows and curved rows.
