City of Industry, CA – September 15, 2010 – WallWizard – the new flat-panel TV mount brand that made its market debut this summer – plans to wow crowds at the 2010 CEDIA Expo (booth #3952) with the first-ever software application that permits remote control operation of the brand’s motorized mounts from Apple iPad, iPod, iPhone via Wi-Fi, and Smartphones via Bluetooth. WallWizard’s Control System is a 2-piece solution that consists of the brand’s proprietary ControlWand software application which consumers download from App stores at a selling price of $9.99, and a Wi-Fi / Bluetooth accessory that is available from authorized dealers at a selling price of $119.99. According to Sales and Marketing VP Craig Matthews, WallWizard is the first and only mount brand to offer such an application. ControlWand allows the user to toggle among Auto, Manual and Gyro Modes. In the Auto Mode, the mount can detect whether the TV is ON or OFF, and move the mount UP and DOWN or LEFT and RIGHT (depending on the type of WallWizard mount). In the Manual Mode, the user can control the motion of the mount by pressing on the appropriate direction arrow. One of the special features is a Gyro Mode, where the motion of the motorized mount duplicates the motion of the handheld device without having to push any additional buttons. ”ControlWand’s user-interface is organized intuitively so that Apple and Smartphone users will feel right at home from the start,” says Matthews. “The Control System’s advanced functionality and affordability significantly raises the bar in making television that much more convenient and fun.” WallWizard’s motorized mounts will be equipped with a USB port for connectivity with The Control System’s Wi-Fi / Bluetooth accessory. Suggested selling prices of the brand’s motorized mounts range from $149 to $249.
