AUDIO DESIGN ASSOCIATES LAUNCHES VERY INTEGRATION FRIENDLY (VIF) CONTROL MODULE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Provides Integration Partners with the Tools and Products Necessary for Easy Development of ADA Component and System Control Modules
Orlando, FL – March 12, 2008 - Audio Design Associates (ADA), the recognized brand of excellence in high-end custom installed electronics and a founding member of the CEDIA organization, will be using this week’s 2008 Electronic House Expo to introduce their new “Very Integration Friendly” (VIF) program to dealers. ADA’s VIF program is an open-door process that provides integration partners with the code sets and products necessary to develop control modules for ADA components and systems quickly, easily and with minimum effort. According to ADA’s Vice President and C.O.O. Richard Stoerger, the VIF program is important because with the many new and exciting control platforms available today, keeping integration easy and error free is essential to dealers. The program was developed based on ADA’s successful process with Control Works, which handles integration with Crestron, as well as ADA’s direct relationship with AMX. “With more dealers seeking out the good stuff when it comes to home theater and multi-room mainframes, we are not surprised that more of the top system integrators are looking to couple their control platform of choice with our superior mainframes, sometime even combining brand X touch screens with our own music controls and touch screens, which is exactly what the VIF program enables,” says Stoerger. ADA’s VIF integration kits require very little room while providing developers the opportunity to test their codes with full ADA status feedback. Integration companies can then maintain the testing apparatus so that once their modules are in the field, dealers can be supported and enhancements to the drivers be readily developed. Albert G. Langella, ADA’s President, C.E.O. and Chief Design Engineer says, “Our VIF program helps create a three-way collaboration between our dealers, their control system partner, and ADA, where each party’s technical staff has the same gear. If there is an issue, we can quickly vet it out.” VIF is not just limited to control system providers; it also applies to products and components that provide two-way control from ADA’s own family of touch screens and keypads. According to Stoerger, already under the VIF umbrella are Escient and Request music servers as well as Lutron lighting. Stoerger continued, “ADA’s VIF program is designed to make it easy to create new relationships that will make our dealers’ operations more profitable. This is important because the landscape of custom installation is changing with the economy and dealers recognize the need to differentiate themselves now more than ever before. And considering that the current slow down in custom installation is in the low-to-mid level project, it is no wonder that ADA dealers are finding a way to stay on top.” For all press inquiries, please contact Paul Muto at 631.849.4301 or email paul@mutocomm.com About Audio Design Associates Headquartered in White Plains, New York, Audio Design Associates (ADA) is recognized as the brand of excellence and has been the undisputed leader in the fields of high-end home theater and multi-room audio technology since 1977.
