TRIAD SPEAKERS INTRODUCES ONWALL MINI LCR 3.0 LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM

Combines Left, Center and Right Channel Speakers Into One Small Enclosure For A Compact, High-Performance, Front-Channel Speaker Solution Ideal For a 42-inch Flat Video Display / Unique Articulating Arm Mounting Bracket Optimizes Side-To-Side Positioning

Denver, CO - September 14, 2006 – Custom loudspeaker solution manufacturer Triad Speakers, Inc., today announced the introduction of their OnWall Mini 3.0 LCR loudspeaker system that integrates three Mini LCRs (left, center, right) into one handsome enclosure, intended for on-wall use with flat panel video displays.

The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 is the newest addition to Triad’s popular-selling Mini series, which consists of InRoom, InWall and InCeiling models, all of which make ideal surround sound speaker partners for the new front-channel speaker enclosure.

Triad Speakers, Inc. Director of Sales and Marketing Paul Scarpelli says, “The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 is the perfect high-performance alternative to having three separate LCRs on the front wall. From an interior design perspective, our 3-in-1 approach minimizes clutter around the flat panel display, nicely keeping in tune with today’s growing home décor trend of less-is-more.”

“From an audio standpoint, the OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 is a serious performer. It is ideal for full-range use in small venues, and when coupled with a subwoofer, it easily meets the demands of high-impact movie sound tracks in larger venues,” furthered Scarpelli.

The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 enclosure is a fully engineered and braced cabinet made of the finest MDF materials. Inside the enclosure are two 4-inch mid-range drivers and one 1-inch fabric tweeter per channel, for a total of nine speakers, with each of the left and right channel’s tweeters placed to the outside of their respective drivers, for optimal left and right channel separation.

There are no wood screws used -- the enclosure itself is glued and cured -- which is essential in making an airtight, sealed box loudspeaker. Drivers are screwed into specially designed threaded brass inserts, and held in place by custom designed gaskets, which further maintains an airtight enclosure.

The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 features Triad’s elegant Acoustimesh metal grill, which is painted to match the color of the enclosure. While the standard paint finish scheme is a black enclosure with matching grilles, white or silver enclosures with respective matching grilles are available.

The company can also custom paint-match (using Sherwin Williams paint) the loudspeaker enclosure and grille to any color the customer desires, which usually requires only a few extra days to complete. A wide assortment of real wood veneers is also available for the customer.

For unique applications such as matching the OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 with video displays larger than 42-inches, the enclosure can be ordered in custom widths to match the width of the video display.

The OnWall Mini 3.0 LCR specifications are:
Dimensions: 6˛ high x 42˛ width x 5 5/8˛ depth (with grille) / Weight: 25 pounds
Drive Units: (3) 1-inch fabric dome tweeters / (6) 4-inch coated paper cone midranges
Sensitivity: 87 dB@1W1M / Frequency Response 100 HZ - 20 kHz (+/- 3 dB)
Nominal Impedance: 4 Ohms / Minimum Impedance: 3.9 Ohms / Power Handling: 150 Watts Peak

The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 is shipping now at a manufacturers suggested retail price of $1,250 each in the standard black and $1,350 each in white or silver finish and $300 more for a custom paint-match finish.

The OnWall Mini LCR 3.0 is built in America and backed by Triad's limited 10-year warranty.
